Jamorama Guitar Teacher
Ben Edwards is probably best known as the guitar lesson teacher for Jamorama downloadable guitar lessons. He is a member of staff at Rock Star Recipes and looks after project management and product development there while still managing to write and play music in his spare time.

Rock Star Recipes
Rock Star Recipes is an internet based company from New Zealand that first got started back in 2003. They specialize in multimedia, learn to play courses for musical instruments and have created such products as Jamorama Rhythm, Jamorama Lead, Jamorama Acoustic, Team Method Guitar and Rocket Piano. They currently have in development courses for learning bass guitar (Bassorama), drums (Drumorama) and learning how to record music (Jamorama Music Producer).

Degrees K
Prior to being involved with Jamorama and Rock Star Recipes, Ben Edwards studied for a Bachelor in Education degree and then went on to spend sometime as the lead guitarist for the rock band ‘Degrees K’. The band started in 1999 and recorded several records over the next few years touring relentless and achieving critical acclaim, mainly throughout Australasia.

Jamorama Background
It was Ben Edward’s passion for teaching others which eventually led him to team up with Rock Star Recipes and create the newer Jamorama guitar lesson series. Jamorama Rhythm was first released in 2004 and its success has paved the way for two more learn guitar courses, Jamorama Lead and Jamorama Acoustic.

Jamorama Acoustic was released in early 2006 with Jamorama Lead following towards the end of 2006.

Awards and Accolades
Rock Star Recipes have won several awards for their efforts since they first started out. In 2006 they won “Small Business – Global Operator” at the 2006 Champion Canterbury Awards. They won the ‘Creativity in Exporting’ award at the 2007 ANZ Export Awards and also ‘Stellar Performer’ award at Deloitte Technology Fast500, Asia Pacific 2007.
